Why did I set up Motor 84?

I have been into cars since I was old enough to 'vroom' one across our brown carpet in the mid 1970s. Passed down from my dad, who was mad into cars as well. The family owned a petrol station franchise then. Petrol, transport cafe, car sales and repair, and also recovery. I was always dressed in overalls and wellies riding a bike or tractor around the place seeing all kinds of cars and trucks come and go. We are talking Fast Fords, Vauxhall Vivas, Opel Kadets and I remember locally there was an Alfa Sud which I always loved.
